About Tim
As a Realtor, I strive to give prompt, honest service to all my clients. I am committed to providing the best service possible by acting in a timely fashion and returning all my calls within 30 minutes if at all possible. I always make myself available to my customers and am willing to help with all your real estate needs regardless of how big or small they are. I view all my clients not only as customers, but also as friends.
I was born in a farming community in northern Saskatchewan. At a young age, I moved with my parents and siblings to the Peace Country. My father homesteaded and developed a farm in the Goodlow area, forty minutes east of Fort St. John, which my brother continues to farm. I attended a private college in Sexsmith, Alberta for four years and earned my diploma. After graduating from college in I married Connie, a girl I met in college, and went on to farm with her family in the Grande Prairie area for nearly 30 years. We had a family farm and specialized in registered seed, forage seed, registered cattle and feeder cattle. In the early 70’s fire destroyed the farm house, so with the help of a qualified carpenter, I built two houses on the farm, one for my parent-in-laws and one for my own family. Connie and I have one daughter, who is married to a man from Fort St. John and they have one child. Our grandson is the joy of our life and we are thankful that he can live in the same community.
After selling our farming operation in 1991, I worked for a few years with Alberta Agriculture as an insurance adjuster and salesman. During the off season, I dabbled in building renovations. In the summer of 1993, I bought an old heritage house in Beaverlodge, Alberta that had been turned into low income apartments. With the help of a friend, who was a carpenter, I gutted it and restored it to its original grandeur. This was a fun summer project, which provided me with a lot of knowledge about the building industry.
In 1994, I joined Mac Tools as an independent distributor and moved back to Fort St. John to service the BC Peace region. I sold this business at the end of 1998 and joined Re/Max in January 1999. I enjoy the challenges of the real estate industry and serving clients in this community.
Since joining Re/Max I have consistently won annual sales awards:
• Executive Award (1999)
• Presidents Award (2000)
• 100% Club Award (2001 & 2005)
• Platinum Club Award (2006 & 2007)
• Inducted into Re/Max Hall of Fame for outstanding sales (2006)
Other Awards I have received include:
• Dale Carnegie Sales Talk Champion (1997)
• #1 Sales in District for Mac Tools (1997)
• #16 Nation Wide Sales for Mac Tools (1997)
• Top Forty Nation Wide Mac Tools (1995-1997)
I believe it is important to be involved in the community and enjoy being active in our local church, the Rotary Club Executive and other community activities.
Apart from work, I enjoy traveling, live theater, picnicking, boating, quadding and other outdoor activities.
I have lived in the Peace River area most of my life and consider it my home. I believe in Fort St. John and am excited about the potential for personal fulfillment in this community. It is a great place to live and work, and a wonderful place to call home! |
